Bar Luce – Fondazione Prada, Milan

The technical execution of the project for the Bar Luce, signed by the American filmmaker Wes Anderson, has been carried out by the Baciocchi Associates studio. An accurate search for materials, furniture and accessories of the typical Milanese café has allowed a precise and attentive rendition of the original concept of the space.Reinforcing the load-bearing structure of the building has granted the preservation of the original vaulted ceiling, decorated with a miniature reproduction of the glass roof of the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II in Milan. From the floor to the wooden paneling, from the seats to the furniture in Formica, from the color range to the serving accessories, everything is a tribute to the Italian folklore and aesthetics of the 1950s and 1960s, just like the filmmaker has heartly required.
